COALA is an affiliate of NALA (National Association of Legal Assistants), the nation's leading professional paralegal association.  Through various programs and the Certified Paralegal and Advanced Certified Paralegal Programs, NALA provides continuing legal education, professional development to all paralegals, self study courses and preparation for the CLA/CP Exam. NALA's annual educational convention in July allows you to expand your network beyond your state’s borders as you network with other paralegals from around the country, attend educational institutes and member related activities.

continuing legal education

Continuing legal education seminars are offered on a variety of relevant topics at COALA's monthly meetings and the annual Spring and Fall Seminars.  These CLE opportunities are NALA approved.
